Experience
I went to Oklahoma State University to earn bachelor's degrees in biology and chemistry. I continued at OSU to earn my master of education degree for secondary level biology and chemistry teaching. I served my internship as well, and I've accepted a position to teach at a high school. When it comes to teaching science, I enjoy giving young people the chance to get in touch with their innate curiosity about the world and how it works. I encourage students to explore within their learning and I ask a lot of questions to help students develop critical thinking skills rather than lecturing. I want to guide my students to build their learning skills and science understanding naturally. I also am adept at explaining abstract ideas by connecting them to their applications in the real world thanks to my experience researching biology, organic chemistry, and plant genetics as a college student. I'm looking forward to tutoring subjects like life sciences, chemistry through the college level, and biology through the college level. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, dancing, nature, and reading.
